The Farmhouse is situated 1 mile from Haverfordwest, in beautiful open countryside, with views stretching as far as the Preseli Mountains.

A whole range of shops, pubs and restaurants are within a short drive (or walk if you are energetic), yet Haroldston is in a tranquil setting, at the end of a 300 yard private lane and is ideal for a peaceful holiday.

The house is generously proportioned and is designed to comfortably accommodate 12 adults. This makes it ideal for family reunions, club outings and for people who enjoy the self-catering cottage experience but don’t want to ‘rough it’.
The beach at Broad Haven is only 15 minutes drive away, and
many attractions, such as Oakwood Theme Park, Tenby and St David's, are all within easy reach. Indeed, Haroldston’s central location makes it an ideal base for exploring the whole of Pembrokeshire.

The area is steeped in history with many beautifully preserved castles and other buildings. Haroldston takes its name from the now ruined Elizabethan manor (owned by Sir John Perrott – Elizabeth’s half brother) and may well have been a farmhouse on that estate.

For the sportsman (or woman), there is a 9 hole golf course within a mile, a well equipped leisure centre and ample fishing to suit all tastes.

There are a selection of excellent walks in the locality, which are detailed in our own guide. The path that follows the western arm of the beautiful Cleddau River is a short stroll away.
