Haroldston Farmhouse; Review of the Jolly Sailor, Burton
The Jolly Sailor has an enviable waterside position overlooking the Haven and the Cleddau Bridge. It is a fairly big pub with a sun lounge style of dining room. It also has a large sunny garden (bordering on the river) with plenty of seating and an excellent children’s playground. We have eaten here quite often (outside if the weather is suitable). The food is generally plain, well produced and competitively priced. The kitchen staff are efficient & you rarely have to wait long. Traditional Sunday lunches are very popular. Be sure to book and ask for a window seat if possible.
